All cases of salmonella food poisoning originate from animals. Boy that's a twisted way of thinking for a "vegan". If it weren't for the process by which the veges (or fruit in this case) gets salmonella, your kind wouldn't survive (Vegetables need fertilization to grow,.... if you weren'...

Yep you are correct - sorry meant $106k or so, not $116k or so. To answer your last question - The simple answer is employers are forced to follow IRS tax tables for payroll - they don't have a choice. The only choice they have (which is at their discretion) is to choose to tax you at the supplement...

I've had a Cuisinart standard 12 cup processor for a few years - and I love it.
In the winter it doesn't get a ton of use, but in the summer, I make a couple hundred jars of salsa, relish etc with stuff from the garden, so it gets heavily used, and I've never had a complaint.

Oh and fyi, if you are purely going to make jerky - don't get a dehydrator, get a smoker.
If you are just doing jerky, you might as well just use your oven as a dehydrator as outlined above, waste of money otherwise unless you have one for other purposes.
