I know of at least one hospital in my area that dispenses prescription meds through a vending machine. I haven't used it but it was right out in the emergency room lobby. I could see the value of it just in savings from fewer employees.

I suppose I should have searched but I didn't realize it had been around that long. I was a bit worried about the USB2 speed. I just got a usb dvd-rom drive and installing games off it is damn slow. I'll watch for a faster connection option and buy it then. I still like the concept.

Great idea. If the crime you commit isn't violent in nature then you should not be in prison anyway. I believe teh felony DUI though falls under the violent category though. Things like shoplifting or bad check writing should not though. The simple pot possession types should free a lot of room.
