Re: LOST: Season 5
this episode made me sad. i liked daniel. however, it was a pretty stupid move to roll into the others' camp alone and point a gun at richard.

Re: In Bruges
we saw this a while back and enjoyed it, but i think my bf did so more than i. i found i was terribly distracted by colin farrell's eyebrows, which were all over the place. i swear they can move 2 inches up his forehead when he does his surprised expressions.

with juliet and sawyer hooking up it's now a love square instead of a triangle. at this point i don't see them killing off one of those four until they milk some more sexual tension and drama from that setup. besides, kate still has to spill what happened with aaron, i would be shocked if jack died ...

I thought this weeks episode was one of the best so far (didn't think last weeks was very good). I really like Locke, and really didn't see the whole Ben killing him thing coming :O man the minute ben talked him down off the desk i was like omfg. we already knew for certain that he had "hanged...

i have some friends who had a new house built by an independent GC last year, so i've asked him for recommendations on who we should use for a couple of projects i've hired out for. i've also asked neighbors some questions because i bought in a historic neighborhood, so there are a lot of restoratio...

Re: I'm getting a puppy soon
if the puppy is still poopin' and peein' in the cage, i would recommend barricading off some of the space. i didn't know any better, and my pup had a nice, roomy cage. she'd do her puppy business in one corner and sleep in the other. very frustrating! i felt like an asshole blocking off 2/3 of her h...

i wanted to finish the series of books before i watched this, so i just got around to it. once i got about halfway through the third book i was pretty irritated. the final wrap up of the story felt way too dramatic considering the kids were like 13 years old. i can't really say much more without rui...

the happening was pretty bad. raw was great. i pretty much wore out my vhs tape of the golden child when i was a kid. i thought murphy's little tibetan ninja chick sidekick was a badass and i totally wanted to learn how to do backflips.

usually for me it's some variety of kashi granola bar eaten on the ride in to work. then coffee when i get there. it does get annoying when i'm ready for lunch at 11am every day, but if i don't eat anything in the morning my ass is dragging.

i had exactly zero interest in seeing this movie, but ended up caving into peer pressure and going last night. i loved it (and consequently ate a bit of crow for being such a shit about not wanting to go in the first place). i suck at movie reviews, but it was funny and sweet and just different. alm...

Re: Healthier Brownies?
i finally made some of these this weekend. i used a 15oz can of pure pumpkin and devil's food cake mix. holy shit, this was the stickiest, gooiest batter i have ever seen. it wasn't so bad mixing it up, but my hand was definitely tired, even though i was adding the mix in small increments. spreading...

Re: Healthier Brownies?
would you suggest using the brownie mix over the devil's food cake mix? i'm not exactly sure what the difference is between the mixes, if there is any, or if it's just the amount of wet ingredients that you add that differs.
and what size can of pumpkin? 15oz?

While I appreciate the Stones' music, they need to stop performing live. Isn't there anyone with broad appeal from like the last 10 or 20 years? Or they could have at least done like a Motown tribute at halftime instead of before the game. I thought that whole Stevie Wonder thing before the game wa...
