Re: A true loss
I was always awestruck when I listened to my grandfather and other great relatives talk about their experiences during WW II. There's nothing quite like getting stories first hand in person. Now virtually all the WWII vets are gone. Sad to see any of the remaining WW II era vets go. My grandfather ...

Another 4 "innocent civilians" were shot to death by IDF yesterday. They were wearing their scuba gear, I’m sure they were just snorkeling just of the shores of Gaza and tide kept on pushing them towards Israel! Dam those Israelis!!!!!!!

If your car qualifies for "clunkers" program, you can lease a brand new diesel Volkswagen (Jetta I believe) for $99 a month for 60 month. I think that it gets around 50 miles per gallon if not more. Just another option I would think about instead of investing more money into your car.

look at Infinity(FX) or BMW(X5), i think both of those trucks have 75% residual on a 2 year lease. Wouldn't the total costs on either of those 2 year leases nearly equal the cash price of a Mountaineer? Depending on options, it would cost around $650 month (total $15600). Not sure how much Mountain...

Lease for 3 simple reasons 1. Save on tax... in a lease you only pay tax on the part of the car you are using. If you buy a car with an MSRP of $20k for say $19k, the residual is 50% then you only pay tax on $9k and save the tax on the $10k you never used. Almost a grand savings right there. Not al...
