Re: Post something good from youtube!
I mean I guess since you necrod the thread, I'll post one of my videos. I broke my wrist pretty badly in a mountain bike crash last summer, so I picked up drones so that I could get out with my friends still. That's really good. I enjoyed it. Yeah I'm definitely fine with my 4090, likely for another 2-3 years. At this point, I've still been able to play any game I've tried at max settings at 90+ FPS, but often 120 (I cap at this due to my TV). I also do a little video editing for Drone/Mountain bike videos on my YouTube channel and using...

I don't know why it's ridiculous. I want to buy and play all of my games on Steam. I am not interested in them wanting to force the account linking to harvest data, I don't need their security/anti cheat (since this is a common explanation for why these third party launchers are needed). Nightreign doesn't look good, it looks kinda like a cash grab to me, and Roguelike/Roguelites aren't my thing.. It doesn't help that I'm down on the FromSoft situation - if Sony buys them and starts making their games take forever to get to PC I'm just going to stop buying their games, and that bums...

I figure as long as it doesn't die an irreparable death, I'll hang onto my 4090 for another 3-5 years. That was the only way I could justify spending so much on it, especially when the 5xxx cards aren't going to be that different, practically speaking.

It's cool to keep seeing old names pop in and say hi occasionally. I also picked FF 14 back up recently and while I can find the time to stumble through the normal mode raids at least, but they require almost no time investment compared to what EQ took to even just run dungeons. Yeah fuck GamePass. Yeah, I don't get how people still don't get that major corporate mergers are literally never good for the consumer. I totally agree though - Xbox is kind of a joke at this point. I canceled my Game Pass sub on the PC, didn't seem worth it to me.

They shouldn't have caved! The requirement was there from day one. The issue was that due to massive popularity, which the servers couldn't handle, the devs (Arrowhead), and not Sony, turned that requirement off. So people who bought it, then played after the initial refund period, would not be abl...

Yeah it's not that I don't see the difference/don't think 4k is worth the investment - I just don't have money for a new TV. It's definitely on my list of things to do when I can, but for now I'm happy with the increase in visuals with the PS5 even without a proper 4K TV.
