I do know this: I have used thousands of loams on my wizard on test, and he is only at about 200 skill. Thousands and thousands. I bet I used 1200 just to get out of T1. Tinkering is EXTREMELY loam intensive.

You can also port to Kylong Plains. It's in the town up the mountain from the docks, if you're careful you can make it without aggroing anything. I think it was a rune or something right as you get into town, and not the big floating one, it was on the ground right next to that.
