I've heard rumors that Unrest isn't quite finished yet and will be opened in the next few weeks. Whether that is true or not, I don't know, but that would explain why you can't zone in.

I usually play Assault, which is why I'm somewhat hesitant to pick the medic weapon even though most people say it's the "best".
