VT is definetely good for a guild with shit gear. It gets people equipped quickly. However, that's assuming there are only a few guilds working towards VT at the time. I can't possibly imagine how things would work with all these guilds currently in VT. With so many guilds it is probably better to w...

Interesting infoz. All prejudice set asside I feel bad for those involved in such a thing I know it will be a difficult transition for both parties involved. I've always considered FS a somewhat casual guild focused on endgame (when they get around to it). I fear for those who found comfort in that ...

Someone help me here. I'm not sure if you guys saw Farstorm's site lastnight but either I was REALLY fucked up or I saw a tombstone on the frontpage that said Farstorm R.I.P 2002-2004. And I believe there were notes of FS and PD merging into a new guild and further details would come out later. Gran...

New Guild?
All flames asside I'm just a bit curious to hear from those involved what's exactly up with PD/FS?! I thought you guys were always going to remain separate guilds?

I love my ranger and hate my cleric. If you wanted to be very important but bored outta your mind pick a cleric. :) My reasoning for making my ranger was very simple and still the best choice IMO. Versatility. Root, Snare, SoW, SoE, Invis, Levitate, healing, buffs, pulling, tanking, DPS, CC, etc! No...

I honestly think this place would be much more entertaining if people weren't banned at all. Sometimes people wanna say things but aren't comfortable saying them under their original name for whatever reason. So what? As long as they're making a valid argument or a good flame about something people ...

exactly my point arch... Times have changed and fact is more and more people are playing EQ now... you couldn't have said it better... more people = more high-end guilds = more competition = more clutter you can solve this by adding more content for only so long... i dunno... everyone brings up good...

Yes... all good points and obviously the point of controversy. Some people believe it's crowded and some don't. I guess my train of thought for the whole thing is I'd like to be raiding all the time when I play EQ. What does overpopulation do? When there isn't enough to go around it makes it so ther...

Re: server split?
not sure if I understand your thinking right, but Bristlebane isn't our other half, Veeshan is an original server, it's Saryrn folks who are a mix of Veeshan and BB folks oh okay I see that now. :( I guess the chart goes the other way around. In any event... Ya, I could understand where SoE would s...

Re: server split?
Back to reality. Veeshan split one time. Saryrn is our version of Australia. Misfits went there! Sorry, was relying on what others told me about that... I just ran across this link which is interesting: http://carax.hn.org/eq/tips/eqserver.html so we've split once.. ... we're from saryrn and Bristl...

server split?
I'm sure most of you have thought about this... err atleast those of you who are active in EQ atm... I'm not sure this has really been discussed or not but does anyone actually know the proper steps to propose a server split? There's a point where the population of a server becomes ridiculous... For...

POP takes numbers and about 4-5 people who actually know whats going on in the fight; the rest is all fluff or cannon fodder. I disagree with this. I honestly think Elementals is the first time in EQ you're actually required to be a smart player or you either die constantly or wipe your entire raid...
