Re: EVERQUEST GOES FREE-TO-PLAY
I hopped back in on a 48 cleric account I made back in 08 just to futz around. Having to run crossover on my girlfriend's macbook in order to run eq. There's an over year old thread on the official forums when they updated something and since then c50/c60 processors no longer work with the game so m...

Re: Final Fantasy XIV Online
I have to say, the music that's on the site now has me absolutely hooked. This may be the game I finally give in and get a PS3 for, as my current computer probably won't be able to run FFXIV all that well. I guess we'll see if I manage to get into the beta. I'm kinda hoping they'll look at my specs ...

Final Fantasy XIV Online
Final Fantasy XIV Not sure how many people have been keeping up but they added a whole bunch of new info and pics to the North America site. I played FFXI on and off and they've definitely made it a bit more newbie friendly in the last year or so. I'm curious to see how they pull everything off for...

Although it looks like the blew they season's budget on the CG furry wetdream video game sequences I still enjoyed these past two episodes (three episodes I guess?). Re: 9
For anybody interested this is the short film the movie is based off of 9 Short Film. It's directed by the same guy that directs the film.
I'm looking forward to seeing it, but I also enjoy the lack of dialogue in the short version so I'm curious as to how everything plays out in the film.

After watching a few episodes of this show I have to say it's one of my favorites and I can't believe I waited this long to check it out. Hard Boiled - Even if it wasn't my favorite Woo movie no one can compete with Chow Yun Fat sliding himself down the stairs firing away guns akimbo with a toothpick still hanging out of his mouth. I didn't have access to the criterion because for the longest time it was only available thru ebay or other online auction services. And for the longest while it was expensive even for a used copy. Hard Boiled at Amazon Hard Boiled IMDB Page For anyone that doesn't know, this was John Woo's final film before his doppleganger came over to the US and started making crap. If you're not a fan of action, stay far away. I think their's maybe thirty minutes of film that doesn't have explosions or gu...

Re: Is House a good show?
I'm personally looking foward to the new cast change. Foreman I think was the only one that had any sort of decent development. The whole Chase/Cameron relationship got stale quick. I think for the most part the past characters were written just enough for us to tune in but not to care if they get r...

Re: Live Free or Die Hard (Die Hard 4)
I saw it wednesday night. Although I did enjoy it, I had a few gripes. For one a lot of the humor fell flat. However this is just a problem in general with Die hard films as they're ususually chock full of one liners that are hit or miss. I watched the original Die Hard a few weeks ago and it wasn't...

Re: Smokin' Aces
I'm not sure what the film was trying to be. I'm all for off the wall silliness gore and violence but it was offset by the amount of 'serious' scenes that didn't seem like they were satire or tongue in cheek references to the genre. The acting was fairly good, and Ryan Reynolds actually suprised me....

I was worried when going into the film that it would be like so many other comedy sequels where they just rehash the same formula/jokes.
