Re: Judge Calls Health Law Unconstitutional
Maybe if they start over they can do it properly. Unfortunately, due to the Democrats' inability to get anything done even when given a mandate unlike this country had seen since the Great Depression and the Neoconservatives ability to lie convincingly to stupid people, we will not see that happen ...

Re: North Korea
And once again the reality check that even without the support of China, North Korea has a standing army of over one million troops. If they were to cross the boarder our 28000 troops stationed in the South along with the ROK forces would be overrun before we could even think about getting troops th...

Re: North Korea
Having served many years in the Navy thanks to aROTC scholarship, I have to think that we must learn our lesson about fighting on an Asian landmass. We can no longer be the protector of the world so to speak. Yes we need to stand with South Korea but I think we need to do so by demanding that China ...

4000/toaster.. Used to work for a networking company that supported a few TV stations. They all had Amigas with toasters. It was incredible what they could do with those rigs. The 486 dx266 had just come out and I had one with 4HUGEmb of ram with of all things a QUAD speed cd rom drive. The Amiga pu...

EQ2 Extended
Not having played EQ2 in around four years or so and being totally burnt on LOTRO but still wanting to play something I gave this a try. So much has changed since release. I am having a blast. I even got a few other friends who played years ago to give it a go and they all agree, tons of fun and a t...

Re: EverQuest in a cod fish.
Funny, was organizing my bookshelves and found some old copys of pc gamer. I remember reading the reviews on EQ and looking at the graphics and thinking who the hell would play that? Amongst my boxed collections of EQ cd's I too found my beta cd's :) , I do miss the folks and that sense of wonder ea...

Re: An annual ritual - debt collectors
I actually have a bit of experience with this from a couple of years ago. I kept getting repeated phone calls that became extreme to say the least. Doing research I discovered that the do not call list refers to solicitations and not collections. There is a caveat though. In order to legally collect...

Bumping this as the server is going strong after releasing a new expansion. Gravn and I started playing again and are amazed to see the server population so stable. The content is incredible. Very fun, especially since the addiction from the early days is gone. If you have not seen it and are hanker...

Sounds good. I have a few toons on that server. Just been playing each class a few levels to figure out what I floats my boat so to speak. As soon as I feel a bit grounded I will give you a shout. I think I also talked Gravn an old school veeshanite to come join me in LOTRO. So far a really good bal...

Just started playing this with an old school EQ friend. Played it back in beta and notice a ton of great improvements. We will probably be playing this on a casual basis for at least a few months unless of course it gets way old before then. Anyone else still playing?

Anyone else taken a look at this? I picked it up on a whim and so far have been incredibly impressed. Took a little bit to get used to the controls but now have no issues what so ever. Re: BMW 325xi or A4
Good info guys. When I pull the trigger on this it is going to be a 2005 or newer model and I do plan on keeping it a long time. That mechanics are leaning towards the BMW speaks volumes. I did figure on repair costs being about the same but that the BMW would be a bit more reliable. Like I said ear...

BMW 325xi or A4
I am looking at purchasing an awd sedan. It seems that I will likely decide between the 325xi or an A4. I had an A4 in the past and though the reviews are getting better, I had nothing but problems. The A4 was great when it was not in the shop.... Spent way too many hours in the shop and WAY too muc...

http://www.twitchguru.com/2007/08/27/bioshock_drm/ An article that states technically bioshock does not install a rootkit... Still leaves interpretation open... Also, many gamers on various forums have referred to the SecuROM copy protection software as having a rootkit. Technically, the software is...
