It's pretty obvious that the City of Villains expansion, developed by Cryptic Studios and published by NCSoft, brings a fresh new look to the recently released MMO, City of Heroes.

The new expansion will include a wholly different game-play style for players to experience. In addition to nursing a budding denizen of malice, players will also be able to access their very own super-team headquarters and participate in high stakes capture-the-flag missions for powerful relics.

Perhaps the most anticipated feature available in the expansion will be the player versus player system, which allow heroes and villains to face off in heated confrontations. The role-playing possibilities alone are enough to excite the meta-human in all of us. Cryptic's vision of creating a truly unique MMO experience continues on in City of Villains, earning it the title, Best Expansion of the Year.
