And unfortunately, I am unable to edit post counts as they are pulled and calculated from the database when a page is generated.

Send me a copy of the database

I'll write ya a script to change post counts

Edit: Actually, do you know what engine the database is running under? If it's MSSQL, then it's real simple to find out what it does to modify post count. There is a really cool little tool called Profiler that actually tracks all transactions for the database and displays them. Use this program and you very soon know how to modify post counts

That's the thing Canelek, it doesn't store the post count. It performs a sum operation or something when it builds the page.

The way some people write programs is just stupid. Take what you said above for instance, the query must be doing a sum statement which is really just eating up processor time that shouldn't/doesn't need to be used. Although, in terms of modifying the post count, this does work well... But, there is always a way around it. Just need to find out what commands it's using to pool the data and then go from there
