One of them, anyway...
If I click on a folder in the left pane of Windows Explorer, and if it has zip files in that folder, they are all shown on the left side like regular folders. I hate this! Is it possible to not show zip files by default in the left side? And if so, how?
Frankly, it's not bad when there's 3 zips or something. But try clicking on a folder with thousands of zips in it and you'll see how much it sucks.

8) XP will treat Zip files like folders, which is nice if you've got a fast machine. On slower machines, you can make XP leave zip files well alone by typing 'regsvr32 /u zipfldr.dll' at the command line. If you change your mind later, you can put things back as they were by typing 'regsvr32 zipfldr.dll'.

Well I have a fairly fast computer. But like I said... Click on a folder with 5000 files in it and you'll have issues no matter what speed you're at.Vaemas wrote: XP will treat Zip files like folders, which is nice if you've got a fast machine. Will try the reg thing. Thanks!

Ok, finally got around to trying 'regsvr32 /u zipfldr.dll' and it doesn't seem to work. It said it was successfuly unregistered, but when I click on a folder on the left, if there are any zips in it they are still shown under it on the left side.
It doesn't let them operate like folders, meaning if you click on the zip it doesn't show the contents inside, but it still lists them on the left. If they are going to list anyway may as well keep the integration. I don't want to see any zips at all on the left!
