warcraft 3 lag question

just got this game, whenever i attack someone or am attack i get fuckin terrible lag, anyone know how to fix it? or what settings to turn down exactlly

Lag as in low FPS (Frames per second) or lag as in bad connection?
I guess you mean FPS.

Turn everything to low, unit shadows does a lot. Turn your resolution down too.

yeah all that finally got it set

on the undead campeighn now and they suck ass compared to humans at least
