Thats why Romney was going to be the canidate from day one. Magic underpants stuff aside, he worships only one thing: Money. And he is the whitest guy on the fucking planet. The old boys network likes him because he is one of them and the hicks grudgingly accept him because he is not black, plus the money people are never going to let a crazy fucker like Ron Paul be in the oval office, whom they have zero control over. The Teabaggers are the new Moral Majority, ie coded racists that the party uses to maintain the status quo but never actually pays any real attention to.
War is an option whose time has passed. Peace is the only option for the future. At present we occupy a treacherous no-man's-land between peace and war, a time of growing fear that our military might has expanded beyond our capacity to control it and our political differences widened beyond our ability to bridge them. . . .

Short of changing human nature, therefore, the only way to achieve a practical, livable peace in a world of competing nations is to take the profit out of war.
--RICHARD M. NIXON, "REAL PEACE" (1983)

"Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired, represents, in the final analysis, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, who are cold and are not clothed. This world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children."

There are 47 per cent who are with him (Obama), who are dependent upon government, who believe that they are victims, who believe that government has a responsibility to care for them, who believe that they are entitled to health care, to food, to housing, to you name it.

My job is not to worry about those people

I love this current hole he has dug for himself. It's the most sincere I have ever heard him speak. I appreciate that more than the Romney I see and hear everywhere else.

That is the primary electorate map I have been following this election. It is interesting seeing the daily changes as new polls come in. Not once has Romeny been in then lead. Even Fox news electorate maps have never had Romeny ahead. It only takes 270 electorate votes to win the election and Obama has a cold start of around 235. The swing states are polling towards soft Obama and trending upwards from neutral as the days go by. Romney would have to win every swing state to even have a chance, and let's be honest here, he is not going to do that.

Like I've said all along, it's not a question of "if" Obama will win, the real question is by how much.

The sad fact being that I don't think this, or anything else he says, will sway anyone's vote. The people that were going to vote for him are still going to no matter what. It's either that or get stuck with a socialist Muslim gun-stealing president for 4 more years.

It still surprises me how much stupid there is in your country.

In Canadian politics, we actually have a pretty wide spectrum of parties and candidates... left, center and right.
While I don't agree with many of the policies and platforms of the right in Canada, I do understand why a lot of people do.
There is no left wing party in the US. It's just varying degrees of 'right'. Obama would be sitting just right of center in our political spectrum, but he get painted as a radical socialist in yours.
It's bizarro world.

Palestinians have no interest whatsoever in peace with Israel
I didn't think it was possible for him to shove his tongue any further up Israel's ass.
