Decriminalizing possession of "personal" quantities makes sense, wouldn't have expected it from his direction.
Jim Bakker was on TV and talking sense recently too, is 2012 here already?
Folks vote for politicians promising to get tough on crime, mandatory sentences, blah blah blah. It's only a deterrent to people who aren't going to do "X" anyway and defeats all logic unless you're running the jail.
