yeah, you would think that there would at least be some general information about the game in a box that has the original game plus all of the expansions. I think I got a poster I will never hang, a card to refer a friend to play, a card showing the wrong information about how to redeem the card game rewards, game discs, and a "book" that essentially listed the credits for the game. Also, you apparently cannot use these discs to install only the expansion. I bought the last expansion like this (came with the prior software), and both of them installed the game IN FULL. I had wondered where all of my HD space went on that drive, and it appears Sony was trying to get away with my underpants.

Speaking of reasons to get the boxed versions, they used to put some decent add-ins into the box back in the day.

I still have my Firiona Vie statue from the Kunark expansion!

Hot! I bring it in the shower with me.

It's 6"+ tall. Not bad for no extra charge. I think the statues were limited to the first batch delivered to the stores though.

Side note: I'll take the same picture with the new digital camera I get sometime next month and compare the pics on the image forum.

Think it's worth trying to re-establish my old station account before I buy/install this puppy in case the urge hits to log on old Ashur in EQ1 again, or is it best to let the dead rest in peace? ;)

It definitely is. You get a special title (of Veeshan), an in-game painting or two to put in your house, and yes, you can take EQ1 out for a spin if you desperately want to be reminded why you don't play it anymore ;)

I think I was approaching 1300. Wish I could check it online without an active account!
