Typically those types of weapons are designed to arm at a certain distance from the tube. Although, when you have a malfunction all bets are off.

I call bullshit on this list of 100 most beautiful women from a lesbian perspective.
Jennifer Connelly is #76 on the list. No way. Even a lesbian should want to dive right into what she has to offer!

Yeah yeah, we all know about Ellen DeGeneres being some sort of super-freak lesbian magnet but nooooo. She's not 50th if Jennifer is 76th!

Can't pass up a good squirrel story!
Squirrel goes on rampage, injures 3
Thu Jun 14, 10:42 AM ET
An aggressive squirrel attacked and injured three people in a German town before a 72-year-old pensioner dispatched the rampaging animal with his crutch.
The squirrel first ran into a house in the southern town of Passau, leapt from behind on a 70-year-old woman, and sank its teeth into her hand, a local police spokesman said Thursday.
With the squirrel still hanging from her hand, the woman ran onto the street in panic, where she managed to shake it off.
The animal then entered a building site and jumped on a construction worker, injuring him on the hand and arm, before he managed to fight it off with a measuring pole.
"After that, the squirrel went into the 72-year-old man's garden and massively attacked him on the arms, hand and thigh," the spokesman said. "Then he killed it with his crutch."
The spokesman said experts thought the attack may have been linked to the mating season or because the squirrel was ill.

This is cool. Always neat to see intelligent marine mammals doing something different! I wonder if the dolphin wanted a longer look at the shoreline or sky.

Link of pic Red=XKailua Kona, hawaii, USA
“I was observing a strange interaction between a pair of bottlenose dolphins and a humpback whale, when it became apparent that the two species were collaborating in some way. The dolphin was lying on a humpback whale’s head while it was slowly swimming along. Looking through my camera lens the stunt appeared to be orchestrated by mutual “agreement.” The whale very slowly—and vertically—lifted the dolphin into the air. I expected the dolphin to wriggle atop the humpback’s head to get off, but it just laid still and arched, trying to stay on top of the whale’s snout. In this frame the dolphin was beginning its slippery return to the sea. Once back in the ocean, the dolphin swiftly swam away with the other dolphin, leaping joyfully as if they had just scored a coup!”

Winnie turned out ok:'Wonder Years' actress: 'Smart is cool'
NEW YORK (AP) -- Danica McKellar has a message for girls: Cute and smart is better than cute and dumb.
McKellar, who played Winnie on the 1990s television show "The Wonder Years," is coming out with a book, "Math Doesn't Suck," to encourage girls to get into math.
"When girls see the antics of Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan, they think that being fun and glamorous also means being dumb and irresponsible," the 32-year-old McKellar told Newsweek for editions to hit newsstands Monday.
"But I want to show them that being smart is cool," she said. "Being good at math is cool. And not only that, it can help them get what they want out of life."
McKellar should know. The actress once struggled with the subject around the seventh grade, but a teacher helped her through. McKellar eventually majored in math in college. She co-authored a scientific paper while a student at UCLA.
The book includes tips to avoid mistakes on homework, ways to overcome test-day anxiety and profiles of three beautiful mathematicians.
"I want to tell girls that cute and dumb isn't as good as cute and smart," she said.

MORE SQUIRREL ATTACKS!
http://www.wesh.com/news/14052662/detail.html
http://www.wesh.com/news/14052662/detail.html
ORLANDO, Fla. -- A 3-year-old boy, a Florida Highway Patrol trooper and another adult were hurt on Wednesday afternoon in a bizarre attack by a squirrel on a day care playground.
It happened at the Children's Academy Daycare on Oak Ridge Road in Orange County.
Kevin Santiago, 3, was bitten nine times while playing on the playground, according to Yietza Santiago, the boy's mother.
"There was a 3-year-old little boy sitting on the swing. The squirrel attacked him and didn't want to get off of the child. We threw things at it to try to get it off and nothing. Finally, we were able to take it off," day care director Maritza Diaz said.
The trooper, who was working an accident near the playground, responded, and FHP spokeswoman Kim Miller said he was jumped by the animal. He tried to shoo the squirrel away, but it attacked again and scratched and bit him before he could escape.
He was treated and released at a local Centra Care for his injuries.
Squirrel attacks on humans are uncommon, but the rodents are known to bite if they are injured or feel trapped. Officials said the squirrel may be rabid, but officials said getting rabies from squirrels is unlikely.
Doctors often advise bite victims not to undergo post-bite rabies treatments, unless the squirrel attacked for no apparent reason.
The squirrel in the playground attack managed to escape.

WICHITA, Kan. - Wichita city officials may ban wallabies, a miniature kangaroo-like marsupial, from city limits after one of them briefly escaped from its owner.
The development is the latest in the adventures of Skippy, a 10-month-old wallaby who bolted last month from owner Joe Freed's home. His escape prompted news stories and a brief, intense search. He was found 20 hours later a half-block away, where he was trying to get some bread people were tossing to ducks.
Since then, Freed spent $1,000 in attorney's fees but succeeded in beating a city ticket for having an exotic animal.
Wichita's animal ordinance does not address marsupials, but it does say residents are allowed to have "small rodents such as gerbils, rats, mice, hamsters, guinea pigs, chinchillas, mink, nutria and similar fur-bearing mammals."
Tammar wallabies, which are native to Australia, are typically less than 18 inches tall and weigh 15 to 20 pounds, about the size of a small dog. They cost between $1,000 and $5,000 each.
A municipal judge ruled the wallaby was technically exotic and therefore illegal, according to a city memo. But because the ordinance is too vague, the judge said Skippy could remain with Freed.
During a workshop on Thursday, the City Council plans to discuss a proposed ordinance specifically banning wallabies. The city contends wallabies carry diseases and do not make good urban pets.
Freed disputes that assertion.
Kay Johnson, the city's director of environmental services, acknowledged the animals are cute when they're babies. "But cute doesn't necessarily mean it's right for the city," she added.
She said the city did not know anybody in town had a wallaby until Freed's escaped.
Freed said he knows of eight other people who own wallabies and contends the animals should not be a problem for the city.
"It's not like we're going to be ... overpopulated with them," he said.
"A lot of things are exotic to Kansas people," he said. "I can't have a wallaby — but I can have a teenage son?"

when Deer attack!
http://www.wsbtv.com/news/14289532/detail.html
http://www.wsbtv.com/news/14289532/detail.html
BALL GROUND, Ga. -- A man was found dead after apparently being attacked by a deer.
The body of John Henry Frix, 66, was found around 8 p.m. Sunday inside the deer's pen on his property.
He had been gored several times in the upper body by a deer's antlers, Cherokee County sheriff's Sgt. Jay Baker said.
The deer was one of several Frix kept on his property.
"This particular deer had apparently been in rut, which is their breeding cycle, and they become very aggressive," said Cherokee County Sheriff's Deputy Jay Baker. "This deer had been quite aggressive the past few days, so we think that's what caused the attack on the man."
It appeared that Frix tried to fend off the deer, which was the size of a small elk, authorities said.
A family member later shot and killed the deer.
No charges have been filed and the incident has been turned over to the Department of Natural Resources for further investigation.
Deer kill about 150 people a year in the Unites States. But most of those deaths happen when deer are involved in collisions with automobiles.
