Thrown items - PvP related

A dozen or so times now in PvP I'm had the different alliance mele classes essentially one shot my decently equipped shaman with a thrown item.

I'm wondering if anyone knows of any reasonably common thrown items that can crit for 3k+?

Don't know that there's much I can do about it, but knowing what they're smacking me with would be nice.

Rogue's agility directly affects their ranged AP i believe. Dont know about others. Thrown items for pvp are very underrated.

probably Hammer of Muradin

they gave that to all alliance a few patches ago to counter frostshock in PVP... can crit for 4k with the right buffs. Only has a 45 yard range though so its balanced

Yeah, I have dealt with it as Horde and Alliance. Who do the Horde need to blow to get something to anally rape a Paladin through their bubbles?

*edit* so, what IS this thrown weapon? The hammer mentioned doesn't seem to exist

No shit.. it got to the point for me that I just didn't bother with them at all.. It's no fun having to kill them 3 or 4 times.

Haven't looked at paladin abilities very much, but between shocks, mele and dispells they aren't all that hard to kill (as a shaman anyway) if you've got an elemental\enhancement build. Unfortunately that doesn't make for a very group friendly character for anything else.

*Edit - Except for paladins with very high end gear, they eat my lunch every time.

Whatever ability that makes Shaman spam earth shock because its guarantees a crit makes me want to cry. I fucking can't stand that spell.

You do know the bubble is dispellable right?

I can't dispel it with my characters. I do dispel them as my priest. At least I used to be able to still stack up Combo points against them on my Rogue...not anymore though. You can also kill a Shaman. The trick is to not fight to the Shaman's strengths (in-close with totems).

You do know the bubble is dispellable right?

Eh? Paly bubble is the only one you can't. Atleast not til expansion where you can blow 1600 mana to dispell it!

Just not the "divine" bubble though, right? I have dispelled them before.

Seems like the have a couple, only 1 isn't dispellable. A couple purges on them really seems to piss them off too

ahh maybe that's what I was thinking of. I remember reading a bunch of crying on the class boards, and quickly remember why I never read my class boards.
