Quit after it began to turn into everything they swore against. Started sucking big time after the obvious demand for a raid driven guild became the dominating factor. I did, however, discover that I had a wife and a couple of kids that were happy to have me around much more

I plan on resubbing when the priest changes hit the test server.

Technically, my account hasn't been cancelled. I'm just not paying for it ATM.

Started at Euro Launch. Took a Hunter to 60. Quit. Played GuildWars. Meh. Went back to WoW where the wife and I levelled a druid/war duo to 60. She quit. I raided a bit. Decided I can't sit there for a long enough stretch to raid when we've got a baby to look after so quit again. Played CoV. Got bored pretty fast. Now playing Eve Online cos I can feed the baby with one hand and play with the other.
Frankly, Eve rules. Vanguard is going to have to be VERY good to pull me away from it.

Still playing since mid-December 2005.
60 Tauren Hunter - Horde - Hyjal
Guild needs to kill:
Ragnaros (we have only been doing MC for a bit over a month)
Hakkar v2.0 (v1.0 died horribly easy - we have strat down now)
Onxyia is on farm status with 25 guildes :) Very easy kill.
We are starting BWL. Learning Razorgore strat still.
AQ20 - We got first 2 named down. Moam is a bitch :)
We are having a blast. Factioning sucks balls though for Cenarion Circle --heh

Account still active but only log on once a month or so when my son wants to play his Hunter which is very rare, especially since we got the XBox.
Been playing EQ2 since Aug. and still enjoying it very much. Have 2 characters in the mid-20s then 4 more in the teens. Having a blast when I get to play, which is usually only a few times a week for short periods. Playing with old perverted friends like myself so when I am online, it's quite amusing. We don't really raid, but are in a "alliance" so we have the option if possible. Everyone has access to the guild bank and we pretty much share everything, no loot issues, make things for each other etc... No pressure and tons of fun...
I'm also testing an "unnamed" game right now and having fun there as well, I just hope I'm playing enough not to loose my beta stop because it's pretty fun and gets better with every update.
Seebs I still have my level 29 Guardian, always ready to pair up with a Templar.

Started a guild day after opening, but only raid 2-3 times a week. Just downed Vael lastnight and having a blast.

lol at least you arent on the alliance side. aside from chosen the server is filled with fucking morons. and it is a rare day that the alliance wins any battleground.Psyloche wrote:I still play on Firetree, though I've looked at possibly switching servers, because it seems invested with mostly morons and it bothers me.

Whats even awesomererer is that I wrote invested instead of infested. Dark Aegis and Displaced seem to be ok. The Lucky Strikes are pretty annoying as well with all their epics compared to my blues.Zamtuk wrote:lol at least you arent on the alliance side. aside from chosen the server is filled with fucking morons. and it is a rare day that the alliance wins any battleground.Psyloche wrote:I still play on Firetree, though I've looked at possibly switching servers, because it seems invested with mostly morons and it bothers me.
In day 9 of a 14 day free trial (requires i purchase retail version and drop CC on day 15 to stay active).
I really like the game, but i'm not going to keep playing - i dont have the time. But the main thing was i wanted to see how some of the nuts and bolts of WoW worked like their registration path and online account management.
In the meantime i've got a lvl 14 priest on thunderlord named Voron
i went to a server where i knew nobody on purpose. the game has me hooked already. as far as getting the hang of the game fast and building quests, they made some major improvements over EQ. it is very user friendly.

If you don't really have the time, the IRC channel hasn't changed!

I actually have an alliance warlock on that server. I made one there only because my girlfriend has been on that server, and she forgets that her phone is in "airplane" mode when she gets home from work/class. I think that character is somewhere between 10 and 14 now. Swirly is the name thereVoronwë wrote:In the meantime i've got a lvl 14 priest on thunderlord named Voron
