1920X1200 Guild War images (bandwidth ~7mb)

For anyone considering the Dell 2405FPW I'm posting some Guild War screenshots to give you an idea of how nice it is to play in 1920X1200. I suppose they won't mean much unless you expand them to full size though.

Nice looking backgrounds and scenery...too bad they used fake people for models again...I'm still trying to figure out why there isnt a see through option for the clothing in some of these games...

Anyhoo, is it true that there is no subscription fee, hidden or otherwise, of any kind?

Yes it is true.. Quite an enjoyable game really.. If you're more of a casual player you can still progress through the game easily without needing a 40-50 person guild raid.. All the content is instanced and its all done with one group..

I didn't post these in the Gaming Forum because they are just showing an example of 1920X1200 gameplay on a good looking game.

Guild Wars is the best looking MMORPG out there. The game itself is more like a single player game (hire free henchmen) with the ability to interact with others if you want or PvP in combat arenas if desired. It's well worth the money if you enjoy party based RPG with multiplayer being a bonus.

I enjoyed Guild Wars and may play it again from time to time. No monthly fee is great. They can do this because everything is instanced so only the cities require server time and I'm sure they'll charge for expansions. The graphics are awe inspiring if you have the PC power to push them. Other MMORPG's need to take note of the beautiful special effects and character animation that doesn't kill FPS or create overwhelming flashes of light and colors during battle. If someone can combine those with a MMORPG that has good gameplay and player interaction you'll have a winner.
