WHERE SHOULD I BUY MY NEW GUITAR/LUTE/GLOCKENSPIEL/ORGAN?
Musician's Friend is one of the best websites out there with good deals. Their articles are good, too.
Guitars: For great value for money and excellent service, check out http://www.rondomusic.net

http://ultimate-guitar.com is where I end up getting almost all tabs. They also have some decent reads occasionally.
Up until recently all of my online music purchases were through Musician's friend. My only problem with them is that their backorders seem to be horrendously long. I had to wait so long for a bass amp that I ended up just cancelling it and ordering another one elsewhere. And I placed an order for a guitar which has been backdated for about two weeks now as well. Their prices, customer service, and selection are great though.
I also recently ordered a guitar from rondo music.. I apparently selected the wrong case for the guitar (i swear i checked first!). Before he shipped, the guy emailed me to make sure that was the case I wanted. I told him which case I actually wanted and he switched them and refunded my money through paypal the same day. So far so good :}

Re: Music resources (no, not mp3s)
For anyone into techno, trance, electronic, house, drum and bass, progressive, hardcore or any other types of dance music...
https://www.beatport.com/
Tracks are a bit pricey ($1.99, $2.49) compared to other services but it's damn near impossible to find such a robust selection of current dance music unless you live in a big city near a brick and mortar specialty store.
Probably the best feature is you can choose to receive your music in WAV, MP3 or M4A format.

Use this little program for instant lyrics for whatever song you're listening to. I use it with Media Monkey, but it works with other players as well.

Re: Music resources (no, not mp3s)
I can confirm that this is a good lyrics plug in for Media Monkey. Been using it for about a year. Avoids the spam as far as I can tell and works 80+% of the time. Can retry a different source if first one doesn't pull up the lyrics.Fairweather Pure wrote:Use this little program for instant lyrics for whatever song you're listening to.
