Italians are disgusting to watch in football. They are about as dirty and sneaky as it gets.

I was watching the hurdles this morning and the chinese guy "Liu zhiang" or something (some sort of chinese national hero) who pulled out was bizarre to watch. I don't think I've ever seen a massive stadium empty any quicker than that in my life.

I was amazed at the womens triathalon. These people are incredible. it was just a bummer that the coverage then jumped to beach volleyball, which is a ridiculous Olympic sport. Made even more ridiculous when shown right after the triathalon.

Yep.. Us Italians don't play by the rules.. never really have. Rules are for pussies.

I'm not really a fan of any of the team-type sports (basketball, soccer, etc) really. With the exception of relay-type events. I find it more interesting down at the individual level where it's basically one person pushing themselves to be better than everyone else.

What happened to the days of getting a perfect 10? Now the score from event to event varies so much that you really can't tell what is a good score and what is a great one...IF they score the same for everyone.
