I still need to finish copying over home directories and such and relinking, hope to have done soon.

if you were walking around and you came upon a tulip with tits, would you let it be for the rest of the world to enjoy.. or would you pick it and carry it off to a secluded area to motorboat them?

Last time I take my cat Mr. Scruffy into Second Life! One episode of "poopsies" and WHAM! Suspended for a fortnight.Date: Sunday, February 19, 2006
Violation: Disturbing the Peace: Abuse of Sandbox Resources
Region: Los Altos
Description: 14 Day suspension issued.
Action taken: Suspended 14 days.
With all the suspensions for assasult and use of weapons, I don't think Second Life is the place for my laser-chainsaw-wielding, goth-slaying were-lemur.

Thx Py : ) The above are oldies but think they never made it beyond a red x for most.Winnow wrote:A few more picts but I forget to take them too often these days.
I had a conversation with this lady for several minutes. She thought she was a cat. All she wanted was a ball of string:
The Elf Clan is the sworn enemy of D'Veeshan. Since there is no lore in SL, I made that up to create intrigue!
Who's this "trollop"? It's Lali!
Only room on the raft for one!
For comic book fans, I thought this lady looked just like Starfire:
Still fun and still worth a look for those that haven't.

And where are you all the time Hesten? I've only seen you once and that was from across the dance floor at BGs : ) I see you logging on and off often. Stop by the next time we end up at BGs!
Hehe, remember, i still play EQ and want to raid there, then a fulltime job + 2 hours transport each way, and atm im suffering from sleep apnea, so im constantly between tired and fatigued, so need a lot of sleep. Till that is fixed, i dont even get the EQ time i want. But getting Xrays on thursday, so hopefully i can get to sleep properly again soon.

I know how you feel Hesten. I started on a CPAP in December and the turn around has been amazing. Sleep Apnea sucks ass.Hesten wrote: and atm im suffering from sleep apnea, so im constantly between tired and fatigued, so need a lot of sleep. Till that is fixed, i dont even get the EQ time i want. Yeah, ATM my coworkers shout at me a few times a day when i start to fall asleep. Actually managed to nod away in the middle of a conversation a few times when i was really tired.Sabek wrote:I know how you feel Hesten. But hopefully ill know more next week, my throath doc said i should have my tonsils removed, they were too big and might be the main cause of my problems, but need that stupid Xray first, been waiting almost 2 months to get that now.

Patch Day. Nothing too exciting but anything that improves performance is good.

Not sure if this has been posted yet, but a nice video about Second Life on Google.

That video is interesting from an economic and technical aspect but unfortunately, the main grid wasn't up during it so you don't see anything at all resembling the actual SL world full of detailed avatars, buildings, etc.Waran wrote:http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid ... 8975402950

None Available atm, so still checking it out.
Looked at a few places to buy within my means. But (as Py noticed) lots over 512 could be charged at least an additional $5 RL to the premium account a month! WTF???
Considering renting for now while I try to find more information.

Just rent at the Chantoir (spelling) apartments for 50/week...which includes 3-4 free weeks for new players. So for 50, you get 4-5 weeks. I posted about them earlier on this thread! Maybe second page. That way you have a place to mess around with building, furniture, etc.Laliana wrote:Winnow:

Lots of picts but never get around to browsing through them all to pick a few out. Here's a couple, mostly posting tho show off Les Vega's VV T-Shirt creation. Nice!
Someone's nice back yard:
Doesn't look like much but hard to move two avatars together. Piggy back animation override does it though:
Veeshanvault getting some exposure in SL!

Won't spam the thread with pics... well moreso than already... but here's a link to some shirts I've made so far.
Les Vega's T's
Happy with some, others kinda blow. When I get some more, maybe some long sleeves, and shorts/pants, gonna see about setting up a vendor. (won't be selling the VV or fnord stuff, send Les Vega an IM if you want any of em... been trying to get them to ya when I see ya)
