Seen that before. Fantastic little toy but will never be street legal in the US like it is in Europe.

The article I read said that for an experienced racecar driver needs a full fighter pilot style G-suit due cornering ability of that car.

Unreal.

Actually they are planning on doing two things now:

1. Selling it in pieces so it can be registered as a kit car. Lowers the street legal requirements a LOT.

2. Building an American version of it.

At least those are the rumors..

Sounds like you can already order the US version. Might not get it right away though.

That is insane. I want one. Question is though, being so "open" how does it handle weather.

Two words: It doesn't.

To be brutally honest, I'd go for a Lotux Exige instead.

Yeah, but you're in bloody Norway :) I'd have one in Australia happily enough.

hah I wouldn't have one while living in Texas either :p Not my type of car.. even the Exige is borderline what I want, even for a toy.

Turned out my brother is having twins... well, you know what I mean, so he was in the market for selling his Honda Super Blackbird:

Image

I'm sure Clarkson is right in that the Atom would be very fun, however; the Blackbird cost me tens of thousands less, is legal in Australia, makes the Atom look a bit sluggish on the straights, and as the first bike to break 300KPH (~180MPH) has a good 40MPH over the Atom (not that I'd want to do the top speed in either).

Feel free to say your goodbyes ;)

That is just a great show. Getting digital cable hooked up this afternoon, it would be cool if there's a BBC channel to catch it.

I have that same bike (2003) with less than 5k miles on it. Sell ya mine much cheaper. :) Either way, the best sport bike on the road right now in my opinion. Fuck Hyabusa pieces of shit.

Slight transportation problem there Siji ;)

I'd tend to agree with your opinion, but I haven't ridden a Fireblade yet which appeals just because it's like 90 pounds lighter...
