It's about 2 months to the election. Sure a lot can change between now and then, but it's time to separate the princesses from the frogs.

How well can you predict the future?

Answer these questions as honestly as you can. Commentary is optional.

1. Who do you prefer win the presidential election? (Kerry or Bush or neither or either)

2. Who do you think will win the presidential election? (Kerry or Bush)

3. Give your guesstimate of the winning percentage of the common vote.

1. /shrug. Not a big fan of Kerry for his post-Vietnam shennanigans. Bush has issues also (who is perfect after all). Going to have to say Bush for #3 explanation.
2. Bush
3. 60% or more, mostly because I think people favor keeping the current President in office when situations like Iraq are going on.

Godamn dude, those swiftboat douchebags got to you? Voting for Bush because your a neocon freedom hating christian opressor is one thing, but letting propaganda get to you...well i guess thats the 2nd type of bush supporter

Theres nothing wrong with protesting vietnam, it deserves to be protested. Your a fucking idiot if you dont think we commited war crimes, even if you just go by movies(apocalype now, come the fuck on). I have more respect for Kerry because of what he did post war, it was people like him who brought our troops home, and saved a few hundred or a few thousand more american lives.

1996 Clinton/Dole 49%/41%
1988 Bush Dukakis 53/46
1984 Regan/Mondale 58/40

I stand by the 60%. I base it on my view that we'll see a much larger voter turnout this time. With the low voter participation typical of US elections there is a huge potential difference from previous election results. I believe the motivation is there this time, most people seem to believe this election is important. When was the last time a non politcal individual gave a fuck about an election.
