I find that spawn more overlords comment ridiculously funny for some reason heh

Somehow the co-raiding looks to be more a desperate move than any (ie coughs FoH mass recruiting and currently coldcalling and poaching clerics)

Who really cares.

FS and PD did something that many guilds were not able to accomplish. Forge an alliance in a game where paranoia and greed tend to cripple such ventures. Zerg or no zerg they are getting shit done. As mentioned earlier FOH lowered their vaunted recruitment requirements in order to fill the ranks of key classes needed to have success in the elementals. Other guilds like Ixtlan/Legion formed a union for advancement.

FS and PD are doing the same sort of thing while maintaining individual identities. Good Job guys and good luck at the high end.

Cheers

So luvinn by your own admission fiends had over 2x more than what is overkill for Cursed? Not that I agree with bringing 86 people to a mob either of them should be able to kill with less than 30, just saying that some of the arguments being thrown out are pretty pointless.

so what is the point where fiends or any other guild says too bad don't come?

Cursed is a push over FS and PD have done the cycle individually more times than we can count. WTF is wrong with just hanging out waiting for the TMs to pop and people wanting to show up to socialize?

No one said it was wrong (or I didn't see it) -- just funny. 90 people for anything is funny, it was just reinforced since it's such an easy mob/cycle.

I'm sorry - who the fuck are you? Go back to trolling dipshit or better yet go back to creating an illusion that you and your guild are the gods of the universe when in reality you have recruited every living person with a brain smaller than a peanut (actually that's a lot of people) and have swept through mountain loads of content because of the half dozen or dozen Valhall that are in your ranks

You werent aware of it? Then you havent been paying attention. 5 people is plenty to make or break a guild in most cases. Most guilds dont have more than 5 people who are able and willing to effectively lead raids- if a guild loses those 5 or fewer people it will often stumble badly and may fail entirely. Raid leaders arent actually that common, and youre a fool if you forget that. Now, I havent paid attention to what roll the valhall in fiends play, so it may or may not apply to them, but the right 5 can most certainly make or break a guild.

For clarification, only one ex-Valhall plays an active role in leading raids. The rest of us are, of course, from other guilds (none of us had been in Elementals previous to this, though). While it does help, raid leading isn't based on past experience, it's based on your competency. If you'd like to say we're only where we are because of competent leaders, then feel free.

Not to mention, we've redone many strategies that he had previously used in Valhall (like on RZtW, the script had been changed a bit and made this strat unusable basically).

I won't argue that 5 people can make or break a guild, but I will say it has nothing to do with their past guilds. It has to do with their personal abilities. Even the well equipped ex-Valhall were few, and I highly doubt that they made a significant difference in our progression past the first couple of weeks.
