Just a little memory refresher of the past. Most things haven't changed: Mezzdat hates Kyoukan, Aranuil loves Kyoukan, Canada sux, Cartalas & Miir argue, Kylere is a tard...

Its also funny to see how some things HAVE changed like Winnow was despised, Raistin used to actually post content, Millie was a girl...

Its like watching a dysfunctional family reunion on tape! Anyway, I got some chuckles out of it, so maybe you will

I would post in a better form. Yet theres no reason to, when all it is,is a one minded mind set. So might as well go out, cause shit, look like a dumbass 90% of the time, sit back and laugh and enjoy the day. There are no true threads about class blance or such. Maybe my passion for the game I played for so long, is no longer there.

The day is much better if your able to even laugh at something so fucking retarded that you posted, than just flame someone. I get a kick out of waking up and going to work. For some strange reason Im addicted to it, since Im settled down and away from this war bullshit.

For the Scooby Doo Gang, I'll explain why in the world I was looking at the old EQVault board. I was bored and decided to persue the VV Archive and something in a post there got my attention. Very curious. So I went to the old board to do some investigation. My my, what strange things you discover when looking at the past.

Not sure if anyone made a certain connection already, but I doubt it considering I would have heard something about it at FF.

Enough clues for you.

Edit: Oh & it had nothing to do with the thread I posted. That was just something I read and found cute.

The best threads have long since been deleted. The one started by Lelaniel about dueling Eckolit in the arena was priceless. As were all of the Eckolit posts. The one with that Japanese guy picking a fight with FoH for being racist was a solid one. But the best one was the most shortlived (it was deleted, not locked) where Kyoukan flamed CT for rolling legion in PoH.

My favorite post of all time was Kyoukan's retort to the War Council coming to EQVault and telling us they cleared the Plane of Sky approximately 9-12 months after FoH did.

If someone wanted to work on copy/pasting the old threads, AND making them neat I'm sure me and Xou would have no problem paying some vv's for the effort.

The first project that would need to be done is to create a list of the threads that need to be archived so we don't have 15 people all working on the same one - first person to make a list that I can post and then cross off as we get them in gets uh....300VV's - I'll make a new forum for ign archives and then we can have a new thread for each old thread from there.

I wouldn't mind doing that. Wouldn't it just be a matter of saving the HTML pages? All the graphics & stuff would be unlinked (unless you wanted to jack with them) but the text is the only thing that really matters.

Or did you want something a little more sophisticated?

EQVault also has something I think this webside needs. On the page selecter on the bottom or top of the screen they have a scroll bar on which you can select what page you want to go to. That saves time from clicking on page 3, then 4, then 5, etc.

Of course if you have a better way of making it look good and easily readable, then we'll take it - just raw copy paste jumbles the information and inserts all kinds of unnecessary stuff. If you have a better way of formatting the page, or using search and replace to remove things like the footer of each post with a line break that would be good as well - anything that makes it bearable!
