I'm being told Left 4 Dead is the way to go for the PC, I'm actually eyeballing the Valve Complete collection on Steam. For $99 it's like all the Valve FPS games including the Orange Box games ($29.99 by itself) and Left 4 Dead ($49.99 by itself), plus all the older ones too like Half Life (the original), Counterstrike, Day of Defeat etc.

If you just want quickie zombie game to play at work, armorgames.com has The Last Stand and The Last Stand 2.

Fairly quick and very straightforward browser based game. But fun for a quick time killer.

Dead Rising was easily my favorite zombie game before L4D came out - L4D get's play almost every night now. The actual need for team work + zombies - and fucking lots of them...I mean lots, all the time, at high speeds, some with specials abilities that will rape you instantly if you don't play as a team...etc.

Just as you get used to playing the game on normal and it starts to get boring - go for the complete all 4 maps on expert achievement. Expert is just....insane.
Pyrella - Illusionist - Leader of Ixtlan on Antonia Bayle

if you were walking around and you came upon a tulip with tits, would you let it be for the rest of the world to enjoy.. or would you pick it and carry it off to a secluded area to motorboat them?

Can't recommend L4Dead enough if you are looking for a zombie game. If you do end up getting it for Steam, hit me up on the name "Phoenix612" and I can probably get 2-6 more people for coop/competitive.

Wow sorry I didnt see this sooner Ash. As far as zombie games go, L4D has no competition. I haven't played another 360 game since I got it (in December...). Like Py said, the need to actually work as a team, the constant barrage of zombies and the special infected keep you on your toes pretty much nonstop. Play online versus as the infected, you'll be addicted in no time. Hunter pounces off the roof for 25+ damage to start ftw.

If the team you're playing doesnt know what team work is, it'll be a walk in the park.

New maps (especially Dead Air) are AWESOME. Especially if you have a regular crew for 4 vs 4 play.

Dead Air has several maps where getting 20+point hunter pounces are really possible (and the finale owns). I killed three survivors in Versus the other night on the same hunter.

OK, technically the tank showed up and killed me AND the last guy, but I was sitting on his chest locking him down and ripping out innards!

Since there were no $9.99 games left at best buy, I picked up L4D PC version for 29.99.

Hook us up w/ your Steam ID - all our games are Friends-only.

Rant: Man I was pissed yesterday. Played Dead Air single player and was kicking ass the whole way through. Finale comes and we hold off the hordes including two tanks then the NPCs rush for the plane and I get mobbed by zombies at the base of the plane and the UNGRATEFUL FUCKING NPCs ignore me and fly away leaving me to my fate.

We had a really good game last night using Death Toll. I got the Long Drag achievement as my first attack of the night, so it was looking good from the start.

I'd feel really good about winning, but the other team had one AI because Wubba never joined :/
