I stumbled across this article today, looks like some FoH people in the comments. I remember hearing about this when it happened, but what it made me think about more was when FoH woke the sleeper on Veeshan. I think I was helping a friend level in Lake of Ill Omen, and by the time he left there, there were piles of corpses. Things like this, or a GM controlling Mayong Mistmoore really stick out.

Re: Old EQ story
Guilds that killed the warders and woke the sleeper were buttheads!
Of course SOE's bad design decisions are all over that.

Re: Old EQ story
The era of harsh consequences and drama in MMOs. People try to create drama in modern day MMOs but it's just not the same.
If I took the time to think about it, I'd come up with endless memorable EQ stories. I'd struggle to come up with a handful from experiences in MMOs that followed when it comes to intense situations caused by social/political settings in the game.
