Re: Aion - Chinese Beta

I played until 43. The game is great fun for the first 35ish levels. Then it starts to exponentially slow down. The required gold sinks after 40 are also just way too much to enjoy if you don't buy kinah (gold) online. A few of the bad mechanics are supposedly changing in patch 1.6, and I'll probabl...

Just to clarify, this was removed. The Dual Spec feature was changed to be usable anywhere without a reagent (which is how it is on the current PTR, and confirmed that's the current design intent).

Re: Dual Spec

Have they specifically stated it's going to be 2 specs? I figured they would make it where you unlock multiple talent "stables" so to speak. Say the first one requires X amount of gold and level 80, giving you two specs. A third spec slot would require finishing the Glory of the Raider ach...

On the other hand, I hate it. I've been playing a low level alt for the past few days, and to train new skills every 2 levels I have to run, die, run, die about 12 times to make it across Orgrimmar to reach my trainer, to find him dead most of the time, then once I finally train ~20 minutes later, I...

Aye I know, that's why I said it's a great zone for it's target audience. When I run it on my undergeared paladin, it's quite the challenge. I was just hoping that some day we get the true bleeding edge, challenging 5 man zone. Raids are great, it's my main focus in the game, but on off days, it wou...

Re: Sunwell - Impressions - Initial

Well 2.4 has been out a while. Magister's seems to be a hit, though I wish the heroic version wasn't so trivial with mostly bad loot (except for a few key items, like the trinkets). I understand it was tuned for the lower end players, and in that sense it's a grand success, but one day I'd like a 5 ...

There's very little UI changes going in except the combat log stuff, which will only have an effect on mods that parse the combat log. Everything else should work without issue. Those mods that are affected shouldn't be too hard to convert either. I was able to update my mods in just a short time on...

find weakness would be pretty interesting but you have to give up some good shit in combat to get it. I'm somewhat confused on the actual functionality of this talent. PvE or PvP? On PvE raids, a rogue wins hands down. To compete with a rogue in DPS, a warrior has to go all out DPS gear. The catch is, their AC/Sta is typically lower in DPS gear to the point they can not effectively tank raid bosses. Warriors also have no way to remove agro, so once your DPS hits a...
